I am an established and experienced piano teacher and pianist. I teach all levels, from beginner to advanced; and all ages, from Kindergarten to retired. Lessons are taught in a private studio in the Upper Arlington/NW Columbus, Ohio area. Day and evening 30 or 60 minute lesson times are available Monday through Thursday.
My studio is located between Reed and Kenny Roads, north of Henderson. It is a dedicated studio with a separate entrance. I have three pianos: a 6'3" Schimmel Grand, a Yamaha Studio Upright and a digital Yamaha Clavinova. There is a small waiting area for parents and siblings. And it has its own bathroom. :)
I have one Macintosh Computer dedicated to teaching music and music theory. It has several instructional music software packages including MusicAce, which is very popular with my students. It also has a midi attachment to the Clavinova, so students can record their own music and create CDs. My other Macintosh Computer has a built in camera. I use this to make video recordings of student performances as they prepare for recitals and other events.
Students have access to my huge library of printed music, from Baroque to Popular; my reference library that includes a complete set of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians; and my collection of CDs.
