District Festival is sponsored by the Central East District of the Ohio Music Teachers Association. It is an annual event of back-to-back recitals running concurrently in several locales in the Conservatory Complex at Capital University. Each recital features students of various levels from different teachers. Students receive written comments from a qualified outside adjudicator and a certificate of participation. This is a wonderful non-competitive performance opportunity for students of all instruments. This year over 200 students of piano, strings and voice performed.
